As a fast-growing and well-funded startup company, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled digital power IC designer in the field of cloud/computing power to join our dynamic engineering team. The chosen candidate will
participate in all aspects of the development of digital power controllers, interfaces and algorithms including:
· RTL design of digital circuits for mixed signal applications
· Involvement in all stages of product development including specification, design, synthesis, verification, timing analysis, design for test, backend verification and silicon debug
· Simulation and verification in both digital and mixed-signal environments
· Interfacing with marketing, test, product and applications engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production
Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience designing digital power control IC preferably in the field of DCDC conversion, multiphase controllers
· Proven background in Verilog RTL design
· Proven experience with digital switching regulator IC design with buck, boost SMPS topologies
· Ability to design a test bench
· Understanding of low power design concepts and clock domain crossing issues
· Basic understanding of analog IC technology
· Proven experience with digital control power IC design with buck, boost SMPS topologies
· Experience with multi-phase, Vcore is a Plus
· Understanding of digital control systems, including digital compensator, non-linear digital control
· Industry standard interfaces: I2C, PMBus, etc.
