As a fast-growing and well-funded startup company, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled power field application engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The idea candidate needs to be a team player and will be responsible for the field technical support for our power IC products. Responsibilities include both individual hands-on design and customer communication. Your tasks involve but are not limited to power converter design and debugging, power converter evaluation, simulation, PCB layout review, Power IC product debugging and characterization, and assisting design and application engineers with taking IC’s to production
Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in field technical support, with the focus of Power IC products;
· Good hands-on experience in SMPS system evaluation and debugging;
· Excellent capability of SMPS trouble-shooting and performance quantitative analysis;
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience in technical report writing, issue description summary, and test plans / instructions
· Prior experience in Intel multiphase DC/DC system evaluation and/or PMBUS PoL is a plus
Responsibilities:
· Close collaboration with sales, application and design team, provide seamless onsite technical support to key customers till design win;
· Full cycle technical support from initial customer sample to post-production;
· New Product Initiative (NPI) concept creation per customer/market demand;
